what are soundbaths?
A soundbath is a meditative experience where participants are immersed in a wash of sound and vibration designed to calm the nervous system, open the heart, and guide you into deep rest.
Unlike a traditional concert, you're not just listening...you're receiving. The vibrations of instruments like crystal bowls, sitar, voice, and chimes move through your body, bringing a moment of calm and meditation to your day.
what to expect
During a soundbath, you’ll be lying down or seated comfortably, eyes closed or softly focused. There’s no effort required, just rest, stillness, and gentle listening.

The immersive tones and vibrations stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system, helping the body shift from “fight or flight” into a state of rest and repair¹.
Research shows that sound-based meditation practices can lower cortisol levels, reduce heart rate and blood pressure, and improve mood and emotional well-being² ³.

Soundbaths may support:
Nervous system regulation
Improved sleep and cognitive clarity
Emotional release and reduced anxiety
Deep relaxation and spiritual insight

You may feel calm, inspired, emotional, or even fall asleep.

This experience is ideal for creatives, professionals, activists, caregivers, or anyone who holds a lot. If you're seeking rest, renewal, or a quiet space to reconnect with yourself, a soundbath offers a safe and supportive pause.

my approach
In my soundbaths, I blend Hindustani classical music and the elements of ritual. Using instruments like the sitar, shruti box, and ghungroo, I offer an experience rooted in ancestral memory and cultural connection.

You might hear the soft rhythm of a rainstick and think of monsoon season. The gentle jingle of ghungroo may remind you of your grandmother’s jewelry. The sound of the sitar could bring back memories of your parents listening to The Beatles.

Each sound invites you to slow down, reflect, and remember where you come from.
